Chloe Rimington, Licensed MHFA Instructor
My passion for Mental Health First Aid stems from a unique blend of personal and professional experiences. My own journey with mental health has provided me with a profound understanding of the challenges and triumphs faced by individuals navigating mental health issues. This lived experience, coupled with my psychology degree, has equipped me with the knowledge and empathy to effectively guide others through the intricacies of Mental Health First Aid.
My enthusiasm for this training stems from my belief that education can empower individuals and communities to recognise, respond to, and support those experiencing mental health challenges. I firmly believe that by increasing mental health literacy, we can dismantle the barriers of stigma and foster a more supportive and compassionate society.
My approach to mental health first aid training is both informative and engaging, ensuring that participants gain the skills and confidence they need to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I cultivate a safe and open environment where participants feel comfortable sharing their experiences, asking questions, and learning from each other.
I possess a diverse range of experiences, having worked in both the retail and educational industries. Currently, I am pursuing a master’s degree in teaching, and in my free time, I enjoy playing football (soccer), spending time with my dog, and embarking on motorcycle rides.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
