Accidental Counselling Course will provide you with practical skills; whether you are talking to someone going through a difficult time, having relationship issues, not coping with life, or feeling helpless. This course will help you respond in a helpful and appropriate way.
You will learn how to help someone identify their strengths, that assist them to manage their problems better, and easier. You will learn how to reframe their thinking to give them a different perspective on something that previously painted a negative picture.

Refresher courses allow people who have previously completed a 14 hour Youth Mental Health First Aid course to refresh their knowledge and skills. For people who are Accredited YMHFAiders, refresher courses offer an opportunity to extend their accreditation for a further three years.

What is the format? This is a 4.5 hour course delivered online.
Who can attend the course? Any adult who has completed a 14-hour YMHFA course or an Accredited YMHFAider can attend, to do the refresher course after 3 years. They will then gain an extra 3-years upskill qualification or Accreditation.
